Led Error code for Canon IP1300, IP1700, IP1200, IP1880, IP1980

Having problem with Canon IP1300, IP1700, IP1200, IP1880, IP1980. Sign that looked to be only led blinking. Following some solutions problem of printer that marked with led blinking.

3x Orange 1x green

Problem : any problem with printer mechanics

Solution: If you don’t have knowledge about printer mechanic, will better if bring the printer to Canon service center.

4x orange 1x green

Problem printer absorber full

Solution: Reset the printer using generaltools or software resetter. If not work using reset manual. Each printers having different set of manual reset

5x orange 1x green

Problem: Black or Color cartridge trouble.

Note: problem is usually caused many matters, for example chips error, conector is dirty, etc.

Ink level resetters for Canon ink chips (tanks)                   Most recent Canon printers come with ink level chips fitted to ink tanks.  The chips record ink level information (as well as other data) generated by the printer.  This is then displayed on-screen as the Canon ink monitor (ink gauge).  And when the ink levels get low, the printer automatically shuts down to avoid running out altogether, which can cause all sorts of problems. Ok, it's good to know how much ink you have left and nice of the  printer to stop before it self destructs. And if you are buying new  Canon cartridges every time the ink runs out, the chips don't affect  you at all. It's only when you are refilling the ink tanks or cartridges, t hat the monitor can become a problem.                    If you want to refill any Canon "chipped" ink tank,  you must deal with the ink  monitor..! If you don't, the printer will display "ink out" error and refuse to print,  until you replace the offending "empty" ink tank. Note: It makes absolutely no difference, how much ink you put in the cartridges.  If the chip says that an ink tank is empty, you are not printing anything.  Until recently, if you wanted to use refilled ink tanks with chipped Canon  printers,  you had to disable the ink monitor. It is not difficult to do, but disabling the monitor  has some drawbacks. You lose the ink gauge and the printer will not stop p rinting when running out of ink. Not major problems, but inconvenient just the same.  Note: If you decide to disable the monitor,  get some monitoring software from www.inkmon.org.

Ink Level Reset Canon PG-40, CL-41, PG-50, CL-51, CL-52 Cartridges

To reset the ink Level (method 1)

1. Paste with a thin strip tape the upper horizontal row contactjes
   Out of the cartridge (Picture 1)
2. Insert the cartridge into the printer and close the lid.
3. The printer will now on the move, but wait until there on the screen Your computer is the message that there is a wrong way to a Ink cartridge is loaded. Click OK in the message
4. Open the lid of the printer and remove the cartridge from there.
5. Download Now the strip of adhesive tape and paste it contact now on the Second row (from top) horizontal contactjes. (Picture 2)
6. Insert the cartridge into the printer back again and closed the lid. Weather will The printer is on the move again, and again we place an alert on Your monitor. This time, the message that the cartridge can not Be recognized. Click on OK again
7. Open the printer and remove now for the last time the cartridge from the
   Printer.
8. Remove the tape and insert the cartridge in the printer and connect it Lid.
9. The printer is the cartridge back as a new and indicates 

Resetting the ink Level (method 2)
Works only in some cases

1. Paste with a thin strip tape the bottom row of horizontal contact The cartridge off
2. Insert the cartridge into the printer and close the lid.
3. The printer will now on the move, but wait until there on the screen Your computer is reported that on one wrong way Ink cartridge is loaded. Click OK in the message
4. Open the lid of the printer and remove the cartridge from there.
5. Download Now the strip of adhesive tape and paste it contactjes now on the Contact uppermost horizontal row.
6. Insert the cartridge into the printer back again and closed the lid. Weather will The printer is on the move again, and again we place an alert on Your monitor. This time, the message that the cartridge can not Be recognized. Click on OK again
7. Open the printer and remove now for the last time the cartridge from the Printer.
8. Remove the tape and insert the cartridge in the printer and connect it Lid.
9. The printer is the cartridge back as a new and indicates that the cartridge full again

New Canon Resetter 2010

This is the latest resetter for canon MP198, MP258, MP276, MP496, MP558, MP568, and MP648.
The following are the steps that must be done:

1. Turn on the printer to service mode. how to enter service mode is :

• While the printer is OFF, press and hold the Start/Stop button (Resume/Cancel in some other models).
• While holding the Start/Stop button, press and hold the POWER button.
• When the POWER LED (green light) lit, release the Start/Stop button (still holding the POWER button).
• Press the Start/Stop button TWICE (still holding the POWER button)
• Release the POWER button.
• Wait for the LCD to display 0 (zero).

1. After the display is 0, attach the printer usb cable to pc, then there will be detected new device (it's normal)
2. Run service_tool 1050.exe
3. Confirm detected usb-port numbers on usb port column.
4. Click the MAIN ink counter reset button, make sure there is paper in the paper feed, because the printer will print after the process is complete.
5. Click platern ink counter reset button, the printer will print again.
6. Turn off the printer.
7. Your printer is ready for use again.
